Carly Circuitt

Carly Circuitt

Carly fell in love with yoga by accident. She was looking for a new challenge, that would enable her to continuously learn and improve, and once she was teaching Pilates she was drawn to yoga. She had no expectations of yoga, and her appreciation for every aspect of movement, flexibility and yoga grew rapidly.

She loved it and never looked back. Once she was teaching Pilates, Carly was keen to learn more about exercise and movement. She completed the Teachers Training and left her office job in 2017, and dedicated herself to practising and teaching Yoga and Pilates. Carly wants to share her experiences and passion for yoga and Pilates through her classes, to have fun on the mat and to enjoy all the little moments we have.

I found Yoga over 12 years ago through a chance encounter with another yoga teacher, who has been a mentor to me to this day. I furthered my practice through regular classes, workshops and retreats. I was introduced to Hot Yoga 4 years ago and fell in love instantly. I love the heat, the calorie burning workout and the exhilarating feeling following an hour in the 40-degree heat.

I decided the next step of my Yoga journey to share this love would be to teach. At the beginning of 2019 I embarked on the accredited Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Course and qualified that summer.

Claire Sookun-Hull

Yoga enriches my life every day and I am constantly fascinated by all that it reveals both on and off the mat and its ability to help me negotiate our frantic world with compassion, quietness and clarity. I love exploring the potential within my body and mind through my practice and I will forever be fascinated at how powerful it is to come back to the simplicity of my breath at any time.

I completed my yoga teacher training at Whitespace Studio in Milton Keynes and I am also qualified to teach pregnancy yoga. Off the mat, I’m a wife, ‘mum’ to two lovely dogs and I work as a midwife too. I find joy in the simple things like long dog walks, coffee and yoga dates with friends, adventures in new places and time with my husband.

Jules Buchanan

Jules Buchanan

I embarked on a Yoga Alliance Professionals accredited training course at the start of 2016. I graduated that summer, and after teaching once a week for around 6 months, I set up my first local (non-hot) village hall class. Balancing my successful career in logistics became increasingly difficult and I found myself drawn more and more to teaching yoga. I made the decision to walk away from my logistics career in May 2017 and have never looked back (although I miss having a fancy company car!).

I’m qualified to teach hot, vinyasa (flow), yin yoga and yoga nidra having completed additional accredited continuing professional development modules since graduating.

Melanie Mclaren

My name is Melanie Mclaren, I am a qualified Beautician, Reflexologist and Aromatherapist. Shortly after gaining my qualifications I was diagnosed with M.E. Despite the Doctors telling me that there was no known cure for this illness I was determined to regain my wellness. I began researching natural healing and relaxation techniques and discovered yoga.

My Yoga journey began over 20 years ago. The love was instant and I began studying and practicing several yogic paths. For several years I reached a plateau in my health, I managed my condition but I wasn’t able to fully recover, until BAM, I was blessed by Kundalini 7 years ago. My health quickly and vastly improved both physically and mentally and I have since made a full recovery.

Kundalini yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. It is an ancient technology that awakens the dormant feminine energy, seated at root chakra. This path of yoga uses asanas, pranayama, rhythm and sound, chanting, and meditation with the focus on cleansing and purifying the chakras and raising consciousness. This divine energy has the capacity to activate an often radical healing response in the body. I am beyond grateful to say that I am living proof of this.

Since recovering I have had an overwhelming desire to help and inspire others. Whatever your physical ability, if you can breathe you can do kundalini yoga, it really is suitable for everyone.

I look forward to sharing this beautiful practice with you on your healing journey of awakening.

With a background as a massage therapist, I was initially drawn to the physical aspect of yoga - stretching and strengthening the muscles. My classes have a big focus on posture and poses, but the more I learn, teach and practice, the more I appreciate the benefits yoga brings to the whole mind and body.

I completed my initial YTT at Whitespace, Milton Keynes, since then I have undertaken additional training and will continue to do so to enable me to share and evolve this practice which I love so much.

I totally believe yoga can benefit everybody in some way.

I look forward to seeing you in class.

My first introduction to yoga was a course of pre-natal yoga classes in 2007 - a wonderful weekly haven with an inspiring teacher who obviously adored yoga. But it wasn’t until 2016 that I returned to a regular practice of my own and discovered that I also adored it.

As a personal trainer with a focus on strength training and weights, I began practising yoga initially as a means to stretch out those tight & overused muscles; however I soon discovered that it offered me so much more than just a good stretch. I’ll be honest, it was the physical element of yoga that caught me first – I loved the strength, the shapes, the flow of movement – and I took my Teaching Yoga Diploma in 2016-17 with HfE in London. But over the next 3-4 years, my teaching & personal practice continued to develop greatly. I qualified in Yoga Nidra, Pregnancy Yoga and became a Reiki Level 2 practitioner.

I now appreciate the stillness & calm of yoga as much as I do the strength and movement. Yoga is an amazing discipline that impacts our whole being – the physical and the non-physical – and in today’s modern world, any practice that can strengthen the mind as well as the body is, in my eyes, the perfect antidote to life.

My classes vary from Hatha Slow Flow to Dynamic Vinyasa – accessible poses for all levels, but with a healthy dose of strength thrown into the mix. You will always feel as if you’ve earned your savasana!

That Dynamic Flow! Ambient Class

A cheeky blend of Vinyasa flow with bodyweight resistance training …. This is the perfect class when you want to feel strong as well as flexy! A dynamic

warm up of sun salutations will lead you into a class that takes the theory of strength building (repetition and fatigued muscles) and apply it to a juicy yoga sequence. Expect to feel like you’ve made full use of your lunch hour!

Level 2 or previous experience / awareness of standard yoga poses.

I have studied yoga for over 12 years, initially to understand personal body issues I had developed over the years from a combination of long periods sitting badly during working hours, sports injuries and general poor posturing.

I studied under the guidance of Dr Elena Voyce to gain yoga Alliance and British Wheel of Yoga certificates to enable me to share my practice with students

I teach Hatha Yoga to all different levels and abilities, and have the gained the trust of many students with specific mobility issues due to my knowledge of the human anatomy and desire to create classes for all. No matter what the issue holding the student back is, there is a place in yoga that welcomes all.

I have practiced and enjoyed the benefits of yoga for 18 years. In 2017 I trained to become a Yoga Teacher with registered Senior Yoga Teacher Helena Bingham and Smart Qualifications in Peterborough. I achieved the 200 Hours Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance Professionals.

My classes use a gentle flow style and focus on breath, strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation. I believe the positive effects of yoga practice on the body and mind can leave you feeling calm, centred and really in touch with your body and your true self.

I offer alternatives and progressions in all classes so that everyone is able to enjoy their practice at their own pace. I am loving using the knowledge I took on to deepen my practice and am enjoying the honour of spreading the yoga love through teaching.
